Why choose NIT ?
Getting admission is NITs is a big challenge. Students have
to work hard and if they get into NITs they are just brilliant. NITs are among
top institutes of India and so the students studying will not face any problem
in future. They can build a good career here. NIT gives a student the freedom to explore his mind and to reach his goals in a smarter way.
How to get admissions in NITs ?
The students aspiring to get admission in NITs will have to
give a entrance test which is known as JEE Mains ( previously it was known as
AIEEE).
The JEE Mains exam is conducted every year in the month of
April. Around 14 lakhs students participate in this exam every year. To get
admission into these institutes, a student have to secure a overall rank in JEE
Mains to be under 20000 to get a decent institute of NIT.
Overall rank is calculated
on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Mains and percentage of 12th
board exam. It is 60% JEE Mains and 40% board, but the calculation is not
simple as it sounds.
